Enrolment information for

Academic Year 2011/2012

 

Fall 2011 Trimester: September 26 to December 9 2011
Winter 2012 Trimester: January 9 to March 23 2012
Spring 2012 Trimester: April 10 to June 15 2012

 


 

FEES

The fee for each of the three terms in the 2011/12 term is €3100.00 (there are three terms in one academic year: Fall, Winter and spring). Please note that prices are subject to change without notice. All costs of supplies and materials are the responsibility of the student, as are all housing and living costs.

Application

Application is open to all: there are no restrictions on age or experience. New students will be admitted at the beginning of the Fall, Winter and Spring trimesters.

 

Late applications will be placed on a waiting list for the dates requested.

Conditions

Upon acceptance, you will be requested to confirm your place with a non-refundable/non-transferable deposit (direct bank transfer) in the amount of €500.00. Tuition balance in the amount of €2,600.00 must be paid by the following dates (please note: drawing and painting supplies are not included):

 

Fall 2011 Trimester balance due: July 31 2011
Winter 2012 Trimester balance due: November 12 2011
Spring 2012 Trimester balance due: March 1 2012

 

All costs of supplies and materials are the responsibility of the student.

 

English is the main language used.

 

The Academy recommends a professional housing agent to assist you. This information and all other regarding relocation to Florence is provided to all new students enrolling in the program.

Cancellations

  1. Cancellations must be made in writing and sent to the school by registered letter, fax or email.
  2. If a cancellation is made more than 31 days before the beginning of the course, the school will retain half of the tuition fee plus the non-refundable deposit.
  3. If a cancellation is made 30 days before the beginning of the course, no refund will be given.
  4. There will be no refund for students who are absent during classes or who take extended leave for whatever reason.
